Protons, Neutrons, and Magick

There is an interesting article on Slashdot:

In it, E=MC^2 has been verified. How?

First, they measured the masses of protons and neutrons.

Then, they measured the masses of the gluons and quarks that make up protons and neutrons.

Result? Total combined mass of the gluons and quarks in a proton or neutron is only 2% of the mass of the proton or neutron? How is this possible?

The other 98% is made up of the energy involved in their movement and bonds.

Hear that? Matter is made up of 2% particles and 98% energy. While this is a gross simplification, it has an EXTREME effect when considering MAGICK.

See, magick is just energy. And if your energy can manipulate the energy controlling the 2% of that mass's particles, then you control the mass.

This is a great step towards proving the ties between mind and reality. More as it comes.
